Customer Review: Amazing eLearning tutorials
I purchased the Adobe Photoshop CS2 tutorial from Amazon, but have not started this particular tutorial because I am currently working on the Amazing eLearning tutorial for Adobe GoLive CS. It's excellent. The tutorial walks you through the various application features by having you design a web page from a step by step simulation. You design the page on GoLive and see immediately if you're following the steps correctly. It's a lot easier than trying to figure things out yourself.

In the 21st century, scrapbooking is more than just photos, paper and glue. Sophisticated software programs make it easier for serious scrapbookers to do many creative and interesting things with their memories. There are a lot of software options out there, with prices that range from under $10 to over $70, and it can be hard to know which ones give you the best value for your needs and your money.

There are review sites out there that can help you sift through your many choices when it comes to features, ease of use and price. Both top-selling software programs and more obscure ones are reviewed and rated in easy to read graphics that show you at a glance which programs have what you want and need.

Scrapbooking software is rated on several different features. These include:

  • Appeal and Flexibility. How easy is it to do what you want to do with this software?
  • Importing. This refers to meshing your photos with their features. Is it easy to do with clear directions, or too hard to figure out?
  • Design features. Once you get in there and upload your photos, what can you do with them? Are there kids' birthday, vacation, wedding, and school days pages for you to design, send, and print?
  • Output options. This refers to how you access and share your work once it's done. Can you print it, email it, or set it as your computer desktop?
  • Ease of use. Most scrapbookers are just family people trying to preserve family memories. We're not computer tech specialists. So this software has to be straigtforward and simple to use.
  • Help and Support. There should be help and FAQ sections built right in to the program, but there should also be a real person to talk to if you need help.

Scrapbooking software programs can be a godsend if you are trying to organize your family's memories, but make sure to check the reviews to see which ones will truly offer you the features you need for the price you can afford.
